How frequent and how long are the classes?
Each class is 90 mins once a week

At this time we have 2 locations across Tampa Bay for your convenience
Do my kid need to bring/ purchase any equipment?
We will supply the robots, laptops and the parts for the kids to work with.
When should my child start? Can they start in the middle of the sessions?
Kids can start at anytime. We have customized our lesson plans in order to accommodate the new kids and have them learn in their pace. We make smaller group of kids so that kids with same level of skills can learn together.
Also note that when kids join STEMSmarts in the middle of a session, we prorate the tuition for the first month.
My kid has no experience with building robots or programming. Would they be able to attend your classes?
Of course! Our lesson plans are categorized based on the skill level. Anyone new will start with learning basics at a Beginner level. Anyone with some exposure/ knowledge in Robotics will be assessed and start the learning process based on the skills they have acquired. This way every kid will be learning based on their skills which is our goal to give every kid an opportunity to learn.
Does the kids participate in a competition?
Although, we are not a FIRST LEGO League participant at this time, we use the program as an inspiration for the curriculum and to provide a challenging environment for the kids to reach their top potential. We will have internal challenge sessions where the kids can showcase their talents
Do you have plans to have competitive teams?
Yes! We plan to initiate the process of putting a team together in the summer of 2024 that could participate in FIRST LEGO League in 2024 - 25 season which starts in August 2024. Priority will be given to our students.
